Skolradio

Häftena låg i våra skolbänkar.

i samhället/världen.

School Radio
....in the 50s....
Pictures can mean so much
-and so many different things -
to you....

I start feeling so happy when I see those!
The small booklets lay in our shool benches.
Every time you open the lid to pick up a book
you saw the bright colored booklets.
How we longed for the next school radio program!

The radio was placed in the centre of the shool building.
A speaker connected to the radio
was placed on the wall in each class room.
Our teacher turned the speaker on
when it was time for a program.

The program was about
all kind of different things in the society/world.

Then there was special music programs!!
High lights- especially to me!!
New lovely songs
- led by talented, happy music teachers.
And we then sang the songs often again and again
with our own teacher.

The school radio programs opened the world to us
and made us more curious!
Hard to believe for young students today
with all their media experienses.
But this was before TV had become
every man´s properity (in Sweden at least).

Those pictures of the school radio booklets
was the last ones of those I´ve scanned.
Surelly I will find more pictures in the future.
.
But by now I will take a break
in my down loading
for a while.....
